I had an outstanding experience with the mortgage refinance team at SECU of MD! Mark , Cynthia and everyone else on the team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. Cynthia took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Their attention to detail really set them apart and they also proactively honored the rate float down option prior to my closing. The process was smooth, stress-free and free of any surprises, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend this team to anyone considering a refinance!

I contacted SECU through Bankrate. Mark contacted me late Friday and worked through my application over the weekend. I had inquiries to other lenders as well. However, no one was close to the customer service we got from Mark and his team. Finally, when we wanted to close, we decided to move up the closing date, which also went smoothly. I highly recommend SECU and Mark / Cynthia for their top-class customer service and best rate.

SECU was very professional and responsive. Outside of the verification of assets, the lending process was seamless. Their user portal is very easy and convenient to use. There were some snags with the timing and availability of account statements that seemed tedious at times, but SECU worked with us to get through it. We compared rates with numerous lenders and SECU was the most competitive. I'd certainly recommend.
